My name is Alex Ward; I am a Master Aesthetician that works at Northwest Aesthetics. I have been in the aesthetic industry since 2015 and have had the privilege to work with Olga and her amazing team since 2016.
Since joining the aesthetic industry I have found my passion for all things skin. I love learning about new technologies and products on the market to treat all skin conditions. But my favorite thing about my job is getting to make people feel beautiful and confident in their own skin.
I am 28 years old and I want to age with grace, which means I start anti-aging treatments now. Not in 10 years when I may have deep wrinkles. I have done a variety of anti-aging treatments to prolong the aging process like; Botox, filler, IPL, chemical peels, micro needling and of course facials. When talking with people they always tell me “you are too young to be doing these treatments” and my response is “I want to continue to look 28, when I am 40.” So here are some of my favorite treatments that I do on a regular basis:
I started Botox at 25, I did because I was starting to get my “11’s” between my eyebrows. Sure, they were not deep wrinkles or wrinkles at rest, but a wrinkle is a wrinkle. I wanted to take care of those wrinkles before they were deep wrinkles that I was really concerned about.
I like getting fillers in my lips. I do my lips because I have such small lips genetically. As we age, we lose the volume in our lips, which means my lips will continue to get smaller and may get fine lines and wrinkles around our lips. Instead of waiting for the day I receive my first lip wrinkle, I am preventing it with getting filler done in my lips.
Not only am I concerned about the anti-aging factor, but I struggle with acne. Peels are the double whammy for me.
