Dr. Steve Rad is a highly specialized expert in Obstetrics, Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine and High Risk Pregnancies. Dr. Rad is board certified and has undergone rigorous training with highest honors at prestigious world class institutions both locally and internationally. Dr. Rad completed his undergraduate degree summa cum laude with honors from University of Southern California. He completed his medical training with the highest honors from the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honors Medical society from the David Geffen School of Medicine and the Charles Drew University of Science and Medicine with an emphasis on care for the underserved. He completed his internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the renowned Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and served as Administrative Chief Resident and received awards for excellence in surgery.

Dr. Rad then completed his fellowship training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine also at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center during which time he received the prestigious Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine Garite Mini-Sabbatical Award. Under this award, Dr. Rad had special international training in fetal MRI in Vienna at the renowned AKH Medical Center and advanced fetal neurosonography. After training, Dr. Rad was on Faculty at one of the nation’s top medical centers, UCSF Medical Center, and the fetal surgery pioneering group at the UCSF Fetal Treatment Center. His extensive education provided the basis for the dedicated and excellent care he now provides to his patients and the trust he has gained among world influencers in his private practice and comprehensive center.

Dr. Rad is published, actively involved in medical societies, is an instructor and loves to teach, and is committed to excellence and improving gynecologic and pregnancy outcomes for all women in Los Angeles and globally. He is among few physicians with unique training and expertise in the advanced ultrasound diagnosis and management of a variety of fetal abnormalities/birth defects, particularly of the brain and heart, and all maternal complications in pregnancy. He implements the most advanced, state-of-the-art technology, pioneering care and treatment options for a wide range of conditions that may affect the mother and fetus.
